Paul, yes the professional footballers playing golf would be at the exclusive and expensive courses at Dunham, Ringway or Hale, plus into Cheshire proper at Wilmslow and Alderley Edge etc. This course is for the enthusiastic hackers, hence a need to keep alert- I have only been hit once by a ball here so far...
It is above 100 here today with a terrible hot howling wind. Lucky I am on Summer Holidays and can be cool in the air con at home. Your shot made me feel even more cooler!
