    Yes indeed, northerners are tough! However, I have yet to see anything as tough as Newcastle upon Tyne ladies. This winter, I saw a hen-party tripping through the city's icy streets one evening wearing tube-tops, mini-skirts & high-heels, and little else - and lookign quite happy.
    Now, that's tough.
