Skywatch Friday: Happiness is looking up...

Whatever city I am in, I've always tried to look up, above the businesses, shop fronts and eye level entrances- while trying to not fall flat on my face or bump into inanimate objects -or inanimate people come to that. It's amusing when people look at you to try and work out what it is you are looking at. Likewise when you are taking a quick photo, especially if it is of a view less ordinary.

  3. Ha nice shot. Is the lantern a little out of form by lens distortion or is it the real form.

  4. From the thumbnail, I thought this may have been a tightrope walker ... excellent perspective. I like out of the ordinary seeing ...

  5. Thx. This lantern is the diamond shape in reality as well as the photo. No effects used or lens distortion.

  9. You have an excellent photographic eye! I'd probably have walked right by that. Great composition; funky and fun!

Fahrenheit 451 was scary and probably too close to the "future," or where we are today. I remember the TV's on the walls and thought that would sure be nice but never thought it would happen and here we are! Interesting that a lot of folks haven't seen it.

    Have a super weekend!

  12. I agree Chrissy ... We see so much of the architecture when we look up but it can be hazardous. Great capture!
