Skywatch Friday: Happiness is looking up...
Whatever city I am in, I've always tried to look up, above the businesses, shop fronts and eye level entrances- while trying to not fall flat on my face or bump into inanimate objects -or inanimate people come to that. It's amusing when people look at you to try and work out what it is you are looking at. Likewise when you are taking a quick photo, especially if it is of a view less ordinary. Love the angle of today's shot - it makes me feel quite dizzy!
ReplyDeleteNice composition.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
Wonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteHa nice shot. Is the lantern a little out of form by lens distortion or is it the real form.
ReplyDeleteFrom the thumbnail, I thought this may have been a tightrope walker ... excellent perspective. I like out of the ordinary seeing ...
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective and shot!
ReplyDeleteThx. This lantern is the diamond shape in reality as well as the photo. No effects used or lens distortion.
ReplyDeletewow I'm dizzy! :)

ReplyDeletei like the perspective here! my daughter and i have fun pointing to the sky and having everyone wonder what we're looking at...we're dorks like that lol
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a shot! Makes me dizzy.
ReplyDeleteYou have an excellent photographic eye! I'd probably have walked right by that. Great composition; funky and fun!
ReplyDeleteFahrenheit 451 was scary and probably too close to the "future," or where we are today. I remember the TV's on the walls and thought that would sure be nice but never thought it would happen and here we are! Interesting that a lot of folks haven't seen it.
Have a super weekend!
I'll have to practice pointing my camera upwards more. I like the look of this very much!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME shot Chrissy! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI agree Chrissy ... We see so much of the architecture when we look up but it can be hazardous. Great capture!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Chrissy, hope you didn't suffer from 'warblers neck' afterwards!
ReplyDeleteGetting a bit dizzy on this one. Sheeeeesh!
ReplyDeleteI am getting dizzy. If I had tried to take this picture, I would have fallen over.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
