Sounds of Spring #CityDailyPhoto
The last of the blossom lingers and was a decorative backdrop to some fabulous lunchbreaks this week. I was able to sit in All Saints' Park and read the e-newspaper. I wasn't alone as there were dozens picknicking on the grass, or just on the grass (in both senses). Unlike the birdsong of the suburbs and countryside the main sounds heard were the roar of buses and music from tinny phone speakers. The guitar playing of the guy in the foreground was lost in the hubbub.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice time of year in places where the seasons change. In Florida, we see very little change in the foliage, but the temperature gets hotter right now!
ReplyDeleteQuite a lot of people. We're still waiting on springtime blossoms.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take some people long to get their kit off does it? I'm still in my fleece jacket, I don't think it's that warm yet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot in the city Chrissy, beautifully framed by the blossom trees.
ReplyDeleteI love that pink !
