Bright Green Day #VoteGreen2015 @GreenParty

There was a really postive vibe in central Manchester yesterday afternoon when some of the Greater Manchester Green Parties (including Bury, Manchester, Salford and Trafford) met with Green Party leader Natalie Bennett and Darren Johnson (Green Party London Assembly). Good to see some media attention there before the Leaders' Debate last night at Media City UK in my constutiency of Salford.

The Green Party came out of it very well, as did the two other female-led parties, Scottish National Party (Nicola Sturgeon) and Plaid Cymru (Leanne Wood. These three are a welcome, progressive and positive change for the future, as opposed to the the 4 grey suited over-privileged millionaires and right wingers that they were up against.

  1. There is a Green Party here in Canada but very few get elected.

  2. The Greens are really growing in popularity here too Chrissy, I can't see them ever being elected to Government but more seats equals more influence !

  3. That is a good sign for the SPRING and the FUTURE.
We have http://www.mdg.no (or Miljøpartiet De Grønne) here in Norway
They are doing better than before.
Anyway, we have so many different political parties over here.
    Too many.... will some say.

  4. As Andy says, we have a Green Party here. I believe they have a grand total of two members out of more than three hundred ridings in the country represented in the Commons.

  5. As Andy said, the Green Party exists here but is very small. And what a pity since the leader is the most articulate and sensible of any of our leaders. Sadly, big money speaks louder.

  6. 100% of Green Party MPs had a very a very expensive education at public school.

The leader of the party had a private education.
