Taking Stock...
Inside what was once Stock restaurant- a rather grand place- which is currently being refurbished. In fact a couple of famous overpaid ex-footballers are turning it into a boutique hotel - what a shame...
A beautiful space. One wonders if the footballers will have the money to finish it- star athletes do have a habit of burning through those millions they make.
Indeed, those two already have a hotel next to Old Trafford... must be proving very profitable if they are branching out with another one, albeit a 'boutique' version!
I guess it will be to posh for me.... Looking for a nice, central hotel that is cosy and has nice staff.... for a long weekend away, and not costing a fortune. Will I find that in your city??
