Havana it ain't but a blue sky and the handful of Cuban restaurants in town can transport you part of the way. Especially when reading a book such as Fidel and Che by Simon Reid-Henry, as I'm doing at present.
Castro and Che's Cuban revolution has meant that Cuba has had no free speech, no free press, no free elections, no free trade unions and no legal political parties except the Communist Party for the last 50 odd years.
Why on earth name your business after an event which has caused so much repression of the common people?
It stands out beautifully against the sky. There must be Cuban restaurants here, but I have no idea off hand.
ReplyDeleteAn odd name for a restaurant.
