Cottage garden, cares melt...

Pepper Street in Lymm has some characterful cottages. Gardens with sweet peas and other summer flowers growing heartily and healthily, including what I think are these pink daisies, next to the more familiar white version.
The symbolic meaning of the daisy flower is unfettered love and innocence which I am unsure of, but I'd go along with the anonymous saying that "Cares melt when you kneel in your garden."

  3. Sorry but I am no technical photographer Andy ;-)I just point and shoot using a Nikon Coolpix with a selection of focus options- this would have been using close up- perhaps that is equivalent to small F stop?

  4. I have a sister-in-law called Daisy - the name is supposed to mean "day's eyes" as the close at night.

  10. It's not about the camera. It's about the person using the camera. And you used it perfectly here. This is one of those very special photos that come along serendipitously and should be displayed for all to see. If there's any photo contests in your area, you might want to enter this...it's quite extraordinary!
