Sunday Bridges: Bridge over the River Weaver

Bridge over the River Weaver near Northwich in Cheshire.
Linking to Sunday Bridges.

It's a good day to be outside. You can read about my walks at Llangollen to the wonderful Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, (over the border just an hour's drive from Manchester) at the 4 Manchester Women blog.

  1. I like the shot of this sturdy bridge but wasn't it possible to get the whole span of the bridge in the picture.

  2. Looks a bit like a canal but of course the river round there is connected to the canals I think.

  3. The Weaver runs parallel to the canal and there's a boat lift at Anderton, and maybe other ways too. I preferred the close shot rather than the full span, which I did take as well ;-)
