ABC Wednesday: "R" is for Rhododendrons at Hare Hill
A visit to Hare Hill to see their 70 varieties of rhododendrons is an almost compulsory activity at this time of the year, although they may be blooming later than usual due to the long winter... ABC Wednesday reaches the letter "R".
My memories of rhododendrons is of them lining the driveway to a Scottish castle (privately owned) where we dropped off a hitchhiker who was going there as a guest.
Pleasant memories! We once rented a house with a huge Rhododendron bush (at least 8 feet tall)in the front yard -and they bloom for quite a long time:)
How adorable and my favorite color! :)
ReplyDeleteYou got a wonderful shot!

ReplyDeleteRhododendrons are my favourite bushes! It's a pity we cannot have them here in our river-clay gardens. Your photo is stunning.
