Ivy invasion
An ivy clad 1930's suburban home. The ivy changes colour from green in summer to red in autumn, but what happens next? The leaves don't fall off in Autumn. Do they just fade and then grow green again in spring?
This is gorgeous! I have Boston ivy on my house just like this. The color varies every fall for me; this year the leaves turned a dark pink & orange. After the leaves turn, they eventually all fall off. About late Febrary/early March, I start noticing little buds, & where I live in US growing zone 6, new leaves pop out around mid to late April.
Beautiful :-) I think the leaves just fade and disintegrate eventually, regrowth in Spring...
