Glimpses of Greater Manchester ~ A City Daily Photo blog by Chrissy Brand
I agree Chrissy. I have never quite understood why so many here in the UK seem to hate the US and all it stands for. Whilst I have yet to visit there I have a good friend who is an American and my little sister has now lived and worked there for some years along with hubby and the 2 kids. So if you are an American, Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy the day too.
Well spotted Chrissy, one thing I've noticed about Americans is that they like to travel and live in other parts of the world, which is good!!
A Happy Thanksgiving wish to you from across the pond.
Thank you Chrissy. Yes, we over here have so many things to be thankful for.
Thank you Chrissy... does the UK have a similar celebration??
No Madge, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK. The next 3 public holidays for us are Christmas Day, Boxing Day (on 26 Dec a.k.a St. Stephen's Day) and New Year's Day...
No Thanksgiving over here as well. Nevertheless, please have a kind Friday.
