Tranquility, Trent-quility... #citydailyphoto
One of my favourite walks, in any season, along the quieter stretches of the Trent and Mersey Canal. These weekend walks put my head back into a good place! Taking part with other "greens of summer" posts at this week's Rurality Blog Hop.
Just lovely, Chrissy, and I too love the idea of a countryside walk. I wouldn't pass on a chance to have a beach in Coventry (reference Grace's comment above) and walk along that too.
I totally agree that a walk along a canal is a fast restorative and perspective-renewer. Hooray for those Victorians who built them and those who look after them today.
Rich green grass, deep blue skies and stream. The rain you have been having this summer is probably a pain, but it filled the stream high and it gave you that gorgeous greenery.
Yes I can see how relaxing it would be Chrissy..walking along the beach does the same thing for me :) lovely rural image.
