"O" is for Oddfellows' Hall


Oddfellows Hall is my "O" for ABC Wednesday. The building once housed the Museum of Science and Industry but is now a university building. I assume it's named after the Oddfellows friendly societies which evolved from the medieval Trade Guilds,

    A building like this is in my town also.... but not as pretty as this one

    My Dad was a member of the Oddfellows in his younger years. I never understood what it was he belonged to. I just thought it was ODD to have that name.
