Monday Mural: Cotton cottage industry?
This mural inside the MacDonald Hotel on Princess Street appears to depict a woman weaving or some such cotton-related chore, which is a nice homage to Manchester's industrial heritage. More Monday Murals.
It is a lovely homage to your industrial past. Like factory jobs everywhere, I imagine the reality was less pretty. All and still, I'm glad it's up. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
It's a very modern and beautiful mural and I like the lights on the right side!

Seen the like round here before, might have been in Waterstones
ReplyDeleteThe lights seem to complement the mural design quite well.
ReplyDeleteA fascinating design!
