Florist, Quay St

Back to work after the May Day holidays. Maybe a bunch of flowers will help cheer us up- at least it is still gloriously sunny here in the UK.

Here is Flower Style florists, a fixture on Quay Street, Manchester city centre for well over a decade.

  1. Thanks for the comment on my site today. I took a few minutes to look at all your photos here and you have some great ones. I love all things English and will stop by to see what you have posted often.

Your photo of the florist shop made me think of a friend who owns a flower shot in London. If you are ever in London and in need of flowers, stop by William Clarke's shop. He does wonderful floral arrangements.

  2. I like very much the window and door treatment of this flower shop. I suspect the building to be more than 10 times older than the flower shop!! The decorative tiles are very distinctive.

  3. Yes it is located in Sunlight House - a landmark Grade II listed office building constructed in the 1930s.

  4. I think this florist has chosen a perfect location - the setting seems just right for floral decor. I've only ever been to Manchester airport and railway station - so am looking forward to glimpses of your busy city!
