Fields of mellow yellow
All over the countryside the past month have come bursts of yellow, in the form of rapeseed oil plants peaking. These are in fields near Ashley in Cheshire.
Thank you for stopping by and the kind wishes for the graduating granddaughter! I'm not sure who chooses the color for the robes but each high school may have a different color.
I love this time of year in England - the promise of summer, still to early to feel any disappointment at another one slipped past in gloom and rain:-)
That is such a breathtaking sight to behold. It reminds me of the mustard plants that bloom in our Northern California wine country. In some areas, you see it planted among the vineyards and it is a glorious sight.
