Monday Mural: apprentices of the world unite...
I do like the approach of this mural, and its homage to socialist realism. It's set up by Manchester City Council to advertise apprenticeships Youth of the city unite, you have nothing to lose but your...youth?
Looks indeed like an old communist party painting or in this case photo. I am sure the meaning is good and in this case the artist had a job but now the rest. Thats more trouble I think.
Cool find. Remember The East is Red? Complaints about unpaid internships have made the news here, too. Especially those that are months long. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
