There can be beauty in death as this tree on the Trent and Mersey canal shows. I wonder how old it is and when it died, and what type of tree it was?

    I agree Chrissy, there is beauty but also sadness, I always wonder why? Here in Oz it's probably a case of heatstroke!! btw like your new profile pic but you look a little pale, you need to come out and get bit of sun on you haha!

      Yes the eternal question "why?" and the sadness too, Grace. Happy to come out and get some of your sunshine- one day I'll get to WA. The photo of me was when I was comparatively tanned in last summer ;-)
