Happy Thanksgiving across the pond
A Happy Thanksgiving to our American cousins across the pond. This photo is of a American's apartment (or maybe a Brit with US leanings) in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
I agree Chrissy. I have never quite understood why so many here in the UK seem to hate the US and all it stands for. Whilst I have yet to visit there I have a good friend who is an American and my little sister has now lived and worked there for some years along with hubby and the 2 kids. So if you are an American, Happy Thanksgiving!
No Madge, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK. The next 3 public holidays for us are Christmas Day, Boxing Day (on 26 Dec a.k.a St. Stephen's Day) and New Year's Day...

ReplyDeleteWell spotted Chrissy, one thing I've noticed about Americans is that they like to travel and live in other parts of the world, which is good!!
ReplyDeleteA Happy Thanksgiving wish to you from across the pond.
ReplyDeleteThank you Chrissy. Yes, we over here have so many things to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteThank you Chrissy... does the UK have a similar celebration??

ReplyDeleteNo Thanksgiving over here as well. Nevertheless, please have a kind Friday.
