So lar, so good
Fitting solar panels means this house will be self sufficient at times on the electricity front, and able to sell any excess to the national grid too. So, so far, solar is so good.
Thanks for stopping by QPD & leaving a comment. Does your son with the similar house live in the UK?
I like the fact that you can sell back any excess . . . what a great incentive. We need to do more of that here in Northeast America where energy prices soar in the winter especially.
With the recent rises in fuel prices this will I think become more common. Paul at Leeds in Yorkshire daily photography
ReplyDeleteIt's such a great idea Chrissy, we have solar heated water and the panels are so popular, it certainly makes sense to use the the sun's energy.

ReplyDeleteA very clever system.
ReplyDeleteReally cool Chrissy.
ReplyDeleteThis is nice! My MiL in Germany does something similar and she sees real savings on her electricity.
ReplyDeleteOver here people use alike to heat their water during the summer months. Great idea indeed. Please have you all a good and sunny Friday.
