This is a great shot. Takes me back, my husband proposed to me in the middle of a village cricket match 35 years ago. Yes I know, he could probably have chosen a more romantic place but back then it seemed to fit somehow.
Thanks for stopping by and becoming a blogging friend. I've enjoyed my visit here and have done the same. Have a lovely week ahead.
Countless memories listening to its results on Radio back home (where I used to listen to BFBS); yet never got to understand it at all. Please have a wonderful Tuesday.
You can't get a more English scene than that Chrissy, love it.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the game but, it must be a great way to unwind and meet up with the buddies.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.

Village cricket is alive and well here in my little bit of Yorkshire. I guess a similar scene can be seen across many of England's counties.
