Holly in her moorings


Today's photo of a barge or rather a narrow boat (owners can get quite touchy about how they are described) on the Trent and Mersey Canal plays a dual purpose- the second being to wish Holly a Happy 17th Birthday.

    Gosh! My photo yesterday was of a holly tree in front of Holly Cottage, a thatched cottage. So let me add Happy Birthday wish to Holly too :).

    Indeed I once described one of these as a narrow boat and got a very long lecture.
