Monday Mural: Safety for sisters
A mural that has recently appeared replacing this one, also by the talented female artist known as Lispencie. "Fleeing gender violence" is painted on a substation in the Northern Quarter, Part of the 16 Days of Street Art Action initiative.
Fascinating contrast to the Twiggy image it replaced. I'm impressed with the notion of sponsoring 16 days of street art. And glad someone decided to use the platform to voice a critical issue. Thanks, Chrissy, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
Right on. It's disgusting what some societies do their women.
