I really like this piece of floating spherical art at the Skyline Central Apartments on Goulden Street. With 248 apartments over 17 floors and a pool on the 18th it seems a modern and exciting place to live. Taking today part in the Skywatch Friday global posts.
The sphere's not actually a Crimbo decoration but a permanent
fixture, I'm glad to say. But here's a reminder
of my Christmas-related guest posts this month:
For 4 Manchester Women - Mulling
over some midwinter magic in Europe’s north-west; and a guide to a homebaked, homemade
Christmas (with the baking all thanks to Susie,
Holly & Tim).
However, with the torrential rain most of
this week and more festive floods forecast, plus a million Brits going down
with illness, I'm now simply dreaming of
a dry (and novovirus-free) Christmas....
That is so pretty! What a fun thing to see our your window (and what a pretty sky the day you took these!) I wonder what the birds think? :-)
ReplyDeleteJust getting over some creeping crud that's going around myself, here's hoping you get the virus-free holidays you're wishing for (and an end to the constant rain!)
P.S. I realize you don't see this out your own window, I was thinking of residents whose windows face this sphere. :-)
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteweird - am glad it isn't temporary - will have to try and get a look at it for myself sometime - just looked Goulden Street up on A-Z - off Oldham Road.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely sphere! Gorgeous shots.
ReplyDeleteReally cool!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful piece! and the clear blue sky's such a perfect backdrop.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful angles. Happy sky watching.
ReplyDeleteUp in the sky

Great photo, Chrissy. Stay well and have a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteColourful place to live and another great angle shot!
ReplyDeleteI love that and these are great captures! Hope you have an event-free (in the best way:) Christmas! (Found last minute tickets to London, too bad it won't be near Manchester, but looking forward to some holiday time in olde London Towne!)
ReplyDeleteThis would also create some really neat shadows!
